ABOUT THIS TRAINING

Level 3 prepares experienced SOFT practitioners to become leaders, trainers, and innovators in the field. This training equips you to teach SOFT to others, supervise practitioners, and contribute to research and community initiatives. You’ll develop advanced skills in curriculum design, mentorship, public scholarship, and advocacy—empowering you to expand SOFT’s impact in your community and beyond.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Principles of adult education: how to teach SOFT to diverse learners, adapting for different modalities (clinical, yoga, bodywork, etc.)

  • Curriculum development: designing workshops, certification courses, and client education materials with trauma-informed, inclusive practices

  • Supervision and mentorship: how to guide, support, and ethically supervise SOFT practitioners and students at all levels

  • Facilitating group process: holding space for challenging conversations, integrating feedback, and managing group dynamics in embodied learning settings

  • Research methods for embodied and somatic work: designing, implementing, and evaluating research projects related to fascia, trauma, and sexuality

  • Presenting SOFT at conferences, professional organizations, and public events: building your confidence and platform as a thought leader

  • Advanced case consultation: supporting practitioners with complex or high-risk cases, providing specialized feedback, and modeling advanced SOFT interventions

  • Culturally responsive leadership: teaching, supervising, and researching SOFT in ways that honor intersectionality, accessibility, and health equity

  • Community building and advocacy: creating spaces for peer support, ongoing learning, and expanding SOFT’s reach to underserved communities

  • Ethical leadership: navigating boundaries, dual relationships, and power dynamics in training and research environments

  • Collaborating across disciplines: building partnerships with clinicians, researchers, community organizations, and advocacy groups
