Level 2: SOFT™ Advanced Clinical Certification

ABOUT THIS TRAINING

Level 2 is an advanced, clinically focused training for licensed professionals ready to bring SOFT to clients with complex trauma, dissociation, and sexual concerns. Building on the foundations of Level 1, this certification dives deep into specialized SOFT interventions for trauma, sexuality, and relationship challenges. You’ll learn how to navigate the most sensitive areas of embodied healing with confidence, clarity, and cultural humility.

What You’ll Learn:

  • In-depth fascia assessment: advanced methods for identifying fascial restriction, armoring, and somatic “stories” in the body

  • Clinical applications of SOFT with complex trauma: recognizing, treating, and supporting clients with dissociation, fragmentation, and chronic freeze responses

  • How trauma and attachment wounds manifest somatically in intimacy, sex, and relationships—connecting theory to practice

  • Specialized SOFT interventions for sexual pain, numbness, avoidance, arousal difficulties, and post-traumatic relationship barriers

  • Navigating countertransference, boundaries, and embodied resonance when working with trauma and sexuality

  • Integrating SOFT with other trauma modalities: EMDR, Sensorimotor, Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal, and traditional talk therapy

  • Safety planning, stabilization, and “window of tolerance” mapping for clients with high trauma loads or complex presentations

  • Culturally responsive care: adapting SOFT for clients with marginalized identities, medical trauma, or historical/collective trauma

  • Advanced consent and ethics in somatic and sexual healing—navigating power, privilege, and vulnerability

  • Working with neurodivergent clients and those with sensory processing differences: adaptations and best practices

  • Supervision skills: presenting SOFT cases, receiving and giving feedback, documenting somatic interventions

  • Tracking client progress: assessment tools for somatic change, pleasure, safety, and embodied agency

  • Research literacy: understanding fascia memory science and emerging evidence to inform practice

  • Community-building: supporting client autonomy, peer support, and collaboration with other providers

  • Foundations of teaching and advocacy: sharing SOFT principles with groups, couples, or organizational teams

Level 2 prepares you for the deepest work—ideal for clinicians ready to address the roots of trauma and sexuality in the body.
